स्पर्धा करता स्वतःशी

फार मी दमून गेले

जग सारे बदलले

मी स्वतःत रमून गेले

उमेद नव्हती जगण्याची

इच्छा माझी मारून गेली

सगळ्या पासून दूर गेली

एकटी जगण्याची वेळ आली

राग ही केला त्याग ही केला

जगणं अवघड झाले होते

तलवारीला म्यान करुनी

मरण सादर झाले होते

आयुष्याच्या वाटेमधली

काटेरी जागा ती मी

नव्याने स्वप्न जुळवण्याचा

रेशमी मुलायम धागा मी

पेटून उठले मी जिद्दीने

इच्छा मनात जागृत झाले

वाट पकडता यशाचीच मी

जहाल दुनिया मावळ झाली

स्वप्न पाहण्यास धाडस केले

माझी झोप उडून गेली

करता प्रयत्न सातत्याने

सुखद घटना घडून गेली
